Administrators Research & Educational Foundation (AAMA Foundation) was founded in 1976 to:
The AAMA Foundation
Board of Directors
serves as the governing body of the organization.
Each member of the Foundation's Board is a member of the AAMA Board of
Directors.
Funding and Donations
The Foundation has been funded over the
years by donations, large and small, by individual members of AAMA,
charitable foundations and our corporate partners.
The Foundation strives to provide healthcare administrators with the
educational programming they need to maintain a competitive edge.
AAMA member contributions help make the Foundation "an impelling
force or strength" for the development, production and
dissemination of new educational programs. Together, AAMA members
can Build Momentum to ensure that the profession can meet
today's challenges and be ready for the challenges of tomorrow.
To be a positive force in the future of healthcare
operations and administration, members may contribute to the Foundation
on their membership dues
renewal form, online or directly. Show your support and
commitment to the advancement of healthcare operations and administration
through education and research. Contributions are tax deductible. The
Foundation welcomes the sponsorship of special programs by corporations
that require the use of a 501(c)(3) organization to make contributions.
Tax Status
The Foundation is incorporated as a Not For
Profit Corporation in the State of Illinois and is exempt from taxation
under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service. Contributions to
the AAMA Foundation are considered charitable contributions under IRC
section 170 and tax deductible as provided by law.
