The Administrative Director of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Institute (TCI) is responsible for overall administration and coordination of TCI as well as Sparrow Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery (SCVTS) medical group activities. This person is responsible for the strategic planning, marketing, budgeting, operations analysis, and clinical operations. Additionally, this person is responsible developing practice management strategies including, physician recruitment and contract negotiations, vendor contract negotiations as well as facilities planning processes.
Other responsibilities include: • Identifying and developing new business opportunities as it relates to practice merger and acquisitions
• Sharing the lead in the development of short and long range capital plans in conjunction with the Sparrow Health System Finance staff.
• Serving as a member of the leadership team, reviewing and making recommendations regarding medical group policies, operations, developments, and activities.
• Works closely with Sparrow Heart and Vascular Center to ensure maximum clinical integration between TCI, SCVTS and HAVC.
