Must have strong analytical assessment, verbal and written communication, interpersonal and collaborating skills, along with expert technical knowledge of PC-based information systems (i.e. spreadsheet, word processing, database, presentation) and proficiency in latest financial & operational management information systems (i.e. Lawson, IDX, SMS, executive management systems, GL, cost accounting, staffing).

The incumbent provides initial site evaluations. The Coordinator also plans, implements and evaluates short and long term outcomes of initiatives for best infection care, prevention and control at international sites. The incumbent also abstracts, assembles and organizes epidemiological research data while evaluating baseline situations and outcomes of implemented initiatives and supervises the implementation of research protocols at St. Jude and international sites. Additionally, the Coordinator develops health professional education materials in infection control and protocol-specific tools, with particular focus on data collection for outcome evaluation, including costs, of implemented projects.
